Perennial herb. 25 to 60 cm tall. Elliptic
or ovate leaf. Cyme, axillary. Light
purple corolla, rarely white. Flowering:
Aug. to Sept. Warm and humid tenddency.
Heliophiles. Southeast Tibet, 800 to 2300
m, forest or forestedge. Yunnan, southwest
Guizhou. Nepal, Sikkim, north India, North
Myanmar and North Vietnam.
