Paris polyphylla var.
appendiculata Perennial. 6 to 10 whorled
leaves, oblong, oblong-lanceolate. The
pedicel is usu. Shorter than the leaf
blade. The outside petals 2~3 cm long, the
inside 1 to 2 cm, dark purple or yellow
green. Flowering: June to July. Temperate,
humid and nutrient tendency, shade
tolerant. South to southeast Tibet, 2100
to 3200 m, forest. West subtorpical China.
