Colquhounia coccinea
Shrub of Labiatae. 1.5 to 2.5 m high.
Ovate or ovate lanceolate leaf. 6 to 20
whorled flowers, terminal, in lateral
branches, capitulum - or raceme - shaped,
orange to red. Flowering: Aug to Oct. Warm
and light tendency. South to southeast
Tibet, 2000~2800 m, scrub or forestedge.
Northeast India, Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan,
North Myanmar and North Thailand.
