Annual of Gentianaceae. 7 to 25 cm tall.
Ovate triangular, ovate lanceolate or
lanceolate leaf. Terminal cyme.
Blue-violet corolla, 2 to 2.5 cm.
Flowering: Aug to Oct. Cold hygrophiles,
heliphiles, toerant to poorness.
Sinoendemic. Middle tosoutheast Tibet.
4100 to 4600m, barren or scrub. Qinghai
and Sichuan. The more beautiful species:
l. Oreolcharis, rotund leaf, 1 to 2
flowers, blue or violet, 2 to 3 cm.
